Allied Services

Bridge Street Clinic provides a full range of allied health services with experienced practitioners who work both independently and in conjunction with the doctors at the clinic, to ensure optimum health outcomes in the following fields:

Needling and laser acupuncture are provided at the clinic by qualified medical acupuncturists. These services are rebatable through Medicare and also through the Workcover Authority and Transport Accident Commission.

Hearing tests are a VWA requirement with audiological testing provided using two sound booths. Bridge Street Clinic hearing tests meet the AS/NZS 1269.4:2005 Standard for Occupational Noise Management.

A full range of pathological services and a pathology collecting centre (Vinesection -Sample transfer to laboratory) are available at the Bridge Street Clinic ensuring more efficent and faster health outcomes. Hours of service are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Physiotherapy is a viable treatment avenue for a wide range of musculo-skeletal disabilities. We treat common ailments such as wry neck, headaches, lower back disc injuries, sciatica, tennis elbow as well as joint sprains.

Depending on patient's presentation the physio will employ several treatment techniques such as manipulative therapies, traction, trigger point therapy, electrotherapy as well as exercise prescription in order to restore patient health and get them back on their feet quickly.

A full time radiographer and onsite radiology offers a complete range of x-rays including chest, full spine, pelvis, skull, abdominal and peripheral ensuring immmediate results for optimum patient care.
